It isn’t for everyone. boats require a lot of maintenance, plus, some people don’t like the way water moves their home around. but others love the freedom and adventure of boat life, and living on a canal boat would be equally fun. how to go about living on a canal boat. you need to take your time when choosing a canal boat to live on.. The boats were frozen in and couldn’t move. until this winter past, that scene seemed like one from another age. i was born in 1963 and the picture of coal and steel, bricks and sand being transported by canal similarly seems truly historic..
